Serving the Youth of the Constantine Community
The Constantine Youth Advisory Council (YAC) was established
in 1997 to serve the needs of the youth in the Constantine
area community. The YAC is dedicated to improving the
quality of life for the youth of today and for those of
the future.
Some of the things we hope to keep in sight include: fund
development and grant making activities, planning service
projects, participating in community needs assessments,
and developing leadership skills. By believing in change
YAC is trying to improve on the following topics the youth
of our community see as problems in their lives:
Drugs
Alcohol
Depression/Suicide
Sex
Bullying/Fights/Violence
Academic Stress
Child Abuse
The Youth Advisory Council is sponsored by the Constantine
Area Community Foundation, and was founded on a grant
from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. Contributions to the
YAC fund may be made at any time-for information please
contact any member of the Constantine Area Community Foundation
Advisory Board or by calling 659-8508.
