Title: Special Projects Coordinator

Reports to: Executive Director

Status: Part-time, Hourly (20-25 hours per week)


Sturgis Area Community Foundation (SACF) serves as a leader, catalyst and resource for philanthropy to improve quality of life in communities throughout St. Joseph County. By working together with donors and nonprofits to address critical community issues, we envision a vibrant community that ensures everyone thrives. Since 1962, the Foundation has

been committed to this work, and with the help of our generous family of donors, each year we grant over $1.2 million back into the community to make a difference.


SACF has an immediate opening for a Special Projects Coordinator. The Special Projects Coordinator will provide high-level administrative support to our Executive Director and programs team to ensure smooth operation of foundation-led community initiatives, including the implementation of southwest Michigan's regional child care plan for St. Joseph County.


The Special Projects Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of administrative tasks and initiatives for the foundation. In addition to administrative support, this includes: community relations, first impressions and goodwill; meeting planning and preparation; and event coordination and planning.
