Pythian Sisters Pocahontas Temple Number 121 Scholarship Endowment Fund

Established in November of 2006 by the Pythian Sisters Pocahontas Temple Number 121 the fund provides scholarship awards to area students looking to continue their education at a two or four-year institution of higher education.

Graduating high school students from Sturgis High School, Mendon High School, Colon High School, Centreville High School, Burr Oak High School, White Pigeon High School, and Constantine High School are eligible to apply. Criteria considered in selecting scholarship recipients include but are not limited to financial need, academic achievement, extracurricular and/or leadership activities, and community service.

Upon the dissolution of the Pythian Sisters Temple in Sturgis the group wanted to continue their tradition of community service and chose to put in place the scholarship fund to provide lasting support for the education of area students.
